Nayana is a winner of the realty show 'Pyate Hudgir Halli Lifu' in Suvarana satellite channel was awarded a flat at Banneraghatta Road. Not ready to take on the flat at a far off place, Nayana settled for Rs.20 lakhs plus as cash award.
A close relative of producer BK Srinivas, Nayana got a good beginning from 'Alemaari'. She played tomboy in the film. Her performance gave her an opportunity in Kannada film 'Ayodhyapuram'. She plays a Muslim girl.
Before 'Alemaari' Nayana was in 'Mathondu Madhuvena' of director Dinesh Baboo with Naveen Krishna as counterpart. A specialist in Korean Taekwond, Nayana participated at the national level twice.
A graduate in Commerce from MS Ramaiah College is a resident of Basaveshwara Nagara, Nayana loves adventure. "I am the only one into acting from our family. My sisters have chosen different field. One of my sister lives in USA. I had been to her place recently. I am ready to take on tough roles in the Kannada cinema. That is what inspires me. It is very essential that tough roles stays in people mind" says Nayana.
