Naidu to form party panels

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu will soon constitute party committees in the wake of recent notice from the Election Commission of India (ECI).According to party sources, after the extended committee meeting on June 14 and 15, Naidu will hold a meeting with party seniors and discuss the composition of the committees.It may be recalled that the EC had recently served a notice on the TDP for not constituting party committees.Naidu may take T Devender Goud into the politburo after the suspension of Nagam Janardhan Reddy.Meanwhile, the Telangana Telugu Desam Forum leaders E Dayakar Rao and others called on Naidu at NTR Bhavan on Saturday and informed him that the Tandur Ranabheri meeting was a grand success. Naidu wanted them to continue their fight for separate Telangana. The TTDF has decided to organise meetings in the remaining districts soon.Naidu extended his support to beedi workers who staged a dharna near Indira Park demanding hike in wages. Naidu assured them that he would take up the matter with the state government.Telangana Jagruti leader Kavita too extended her support to the agitating beedi workers.
