BANGALORE: A 46-year-old businessman was killed when a speeding truck hit his vehicle on Wednesday. The deceased Rama Krishna, was a native of Madappanadoddi in Maddur. The police said that Rama Krishna was going on a bike to his brother’s house at COD Police Quarters in Kengeri Satellite Town on Wednesday night. At about 10.30 pm, his bike collided with a speeding truck. He was critically injured and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared as brought dead.Byatarayanpura traffic police booked a case and are investigating.Quarrel: Youth stabbed to death A 22-year-old youth was stabbed to death by his relatives on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Manjunath, a native Byranganapalli of KGF.The police said Manjunath was killed over a quarrel by his relatives Arun Kumar and Satish.  All the three were from the same village in Bangarpet taluk and said to be working at a construction site at Hoodi Circle. On Wednesday night, they started quarreling when they sat down to have food. In the melee, the duo stabbed Manjunath with a knife and fled the scene.The reason for the quarrel is yet to be ascertained. Mahadevapura Police have launched a search to nab the accused who are absconding after the incident.Woman Commits SuicideA 23-year-old technical-supporter allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Neelama D Chalubayana, daughter of Dilip Kumar, a native of Andra Pradesh.The police said, Neelama was staying in a room at Nanjappa Layout with her friend. She was pursuing MCA and also working as technical supporter in a software firm. She would leave to her office at about 2.30pm and reached home only by 1 am. Neelama’s friend also used to leave to her office in the evening and return home after 3.30am.As usual Neelama left for her office on Wednesday at 2.30 pm. When Neelama’s friend returned to the room on Thursday morning at about 3.30 am, she found Neelama hanging from the ceiling fan in the bed room. She immediately alerted the police. The police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to KIMS.The police said that Neelama had left a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for her suicide.
