Missing cops body found in well

THOOTHUKUDI: An AR policeman who went missing in Thoothukudi was found dead inside a well.V Marimuthu (26), of Melakootudankadu near Thoothukudi, was a constable in the AR wing, Chennai. He was recently transferred to Thoothukudi and settled at his native place, Melakootudankaadu. Marimuthu left his home on Sept 1, saying that he was going to Thoothukudi AR office, failed to return home. In this backdrop, a letter written by Marimuthu was found in his house in which he had mentioned that he was going to commit suicide.   Then, Marimuthu’s mother Valliammal lodged a complaint with Pudukottai police. Meanwhile, Marimuthu’s body was found inside a garden well  here on Wednesday.
