Noida: Chief Minister Mayawati on Sunday took local officials to task over "slackness" in discharging duty.
Mayawati, who visited Bhimrao Ambedkar multi-specialty hospital in Noida, gave a dressing down to the officials over poor maintenance of the medical wards.
Unsatisfied with the pace of disposal of cases, she pulled up the SHO of sector 39 police station, directing the officials to take action against a former SHO over maintenance of a complaint register there.
The chief minister, however, did not visit the under-construction Ambedkar Park and a multi-specialty hospital at section 30. The Supreme Court recently gave a green signal for construction of the park.
