March taken out against Mishra Panel report

KOCHI: Lashing out at the Ranganatha Mishra Commission report recommending reservation for  Scheduled Caste converts, the ‘Samoohya Neethi District Committee’ took out a march towards  the Ernakulam BSNL office.The protest march was inaugurated by working president of Hindu Aikyavedi K N Raveendranath.The committee alleged that the report was against the ‘essence of the constitution’ and that it should be withdrawn immediately. “If implemented this Bill will bring all the measures towards the development of the deprived class to an end. The Bill is aimed at quickening the conversion of members of the Hindu religion to other religions,” K N Raveendranath alleged.
