Man wanted for fraud in Afghanistan arrested

Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested a man accused of defrauding a company in Afghanistan to the tune of 44,500 USD.

Afghanistan Police had declared Akhsay Bhatnagar an absconder after he allegedly cheated the private company, said Om Prakash, Superintendent of Police (city).

Bhatnagar had left the country after the fraud and was living in Railway Road area here. He was arrested on Tuesday evening, the officer said.
