Asif, who had intruded into the zoo tiger enclosure of Tata Zoo and was subsequently mauled by tiger Raghav last month, again made an attempt to intrude the tiger enclosure on Friday by climbing over the marine drive road zoo boundary wall of the Tata Steel Zoological Park here.
Asif was immediately nabbed by the security guard on duty and handed over to Bistupur police station, sources said.
Asif, resident of Kapali, Mango here, had tried to get close to the tiger enclosure earlier also on two occasions on January 5 and three days back on July 31 when he was nabbed by the security guard at the tiger enclosure.
On both the occasion, he was handed over to police for action but was set free after warning.
The management of Tata Steel Zoological Society has requested the police to take severe action against Asif for making abortive attempts to trespass and endangering the life of the tiger.
