MALAPPURAM: Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed has said that load shedding would have to be imposed for two days on the state as there is a deficiency of 180 mega watt power from the Central pool.The electricity distribution from the Neyveli Lignite Corporation has been partially disrupted due to cyclone Thane which hit there recently.Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the 66 KV sub-station at Mankada near here,the minister added that the state now depends on Puducherry for power requirements.
