BANGALORE: A group of litterateurs, including Jnanpith awardee Dr U R Ananthmurthy, has appealed to former chief justice of Kerala High Court Justice S R Bannurmath to convey his objection to the state government for referring his name to the post of Lokayukta. In an open letter, they said that the CM and Governor issued contradictory statements over the matter, and urged Bannurmath to end the fracas by objecting to the proposal.
