New Delhi: Lenovo has announced the launch of its first Intel-powered Android tablet at the 2014 IFA Consumer Electronics Unlimited show in Berlin.
Named the Lenovo Tab S8, the tablet has an 8-inch (1920x1200) display and includes the One Glass Solution touch-panel technology. The tablet's ultra-slim bezel merges the screen with the dark front panel, giving it a sleek look.
It has a 1.6-megapixel HD front camera and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. The tablet comes with the Intel Atom Z3745 processor and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
It includes 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0 and Dolby-enhanced dual front speakers. Other features include optional high-speed LTE (4G) connectivity and Wi-Fi for data connectivity, and up to seven hours of battery life.
The Lenovo Tab S8 will be available beginning in September with models starting at $199.
