New Delhi: One Indian died during Israeli bombardment on Lebanon, official sources said on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Devesh Kumar Swain from Orissa.
Swain had gone missing along with three persons when a glass factory they were working in received a hit in Israeli bombing three days ago, the sources said.
The three others were later found and were admitted in a hospital. One of them Kalpanath Singh Yadav, who had received minor injuries, was evacuated on Thursday.
The other two injured, S K Virdi from Bangalore and Dilip Kumar Manna fromWest Bengal, are still hospitalised and are likely to be discharged in about three days.
The four were working in Maliban glass factory based in Beca. The factory has been shut down temporarily a week ago in view of the war-like situation and the workers were in the process of fleeing when the incident took place.
