THIRVANANTHAPURAM: In a bid to address the real challenges facing the public health care sector in the state, the Kerala Sasthra Sahitya Parishad is organising a Janakeeya Arogya Commission at Adhyapaka Bhavan in the city on Saturday, at 9.30 am.The commission aims to come up with effective methods to face these challenges through productive discussions and data gathering, participating experts and common people. Addressing a press conference here, G Suresh of the Parishad said that studies say that there has been a visible dip in the immunity of the people in the state. Lifestyle diseases have become a main factor that contributed to the rising mortality rate. The organisers of the commission also requested the people to send their take on issues regarding the public health care system to Janakeeya Arogya Commission, Kerala Sasthra Sahitya Parishad, TC 28/2772, T’Puram-1 or e-mail to [email protected].
