KOLLAM: R Krishnakumar, who was found in a critical condition in Valakam on the night of September 27 with serious injuries in his private parts, reiterated to mediapersons on Saturday that he was attacked by an unknown gang and was thrown out of a white Alto car at Valakam. He maintained that he was still not able to recall the incident and ‘promised’ media persons that he would reveal all the details once he could recollect what happened on that night. The accident register-cum-wound certificate, which was recorded in the Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital where Krishnakumar was first admitted, states that the patient told the duty doctor that he was ‘thrown out of the Alto by co-passengers’.Relatives of the teacher said that he still suffered from memory loss and was not able to give a detailed account of the incident. However, sources in the investigation team said that the medical board, which includes a senior psychiatrist and a psychologist, had stated that the victim had no memory-related problems. They said the teacher was not cooperating with the investigation.
