External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on Tuesday dubbed the BJP government “direction less” and said it had brought disrepute to Karnataka.
Addressing Congress’ booth-level office bearers meet here, the former chief minister said, people of the state may have to tolerate the BJP government for about eight months if elections don’t come early. The Congress is getting ready for the elections and has been taking stock of its preparedness, he said. Krishna has been given the responsibility of strengthening the party’s Bangalore division.
On BJP government’s claims on Global Investors Meet, he said: “When CMs are being changed every year and ministers are going to jail, how can we expect industrialists to invest in the state?” He advised the partymen to put up an united fight against the BJP rule and ensure Congress’ victory in the polls.
