JNU student allegedly commits suicide in south Delhi, personal reasons likely

New Delhi: A student of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was found dead in Ber Sarai area of south Delhi. According to Delhi Police, the student was found hanging.

Police said that the incident did not take place inside the university campus and that the student allegedly committed suicide by hanging.

They suspect personal reasons to be the cause of the student, whose identity has been withheld, taking the extreme step.
