The Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 20th May 2018.

JEE Advanced 2018 Mock Test has been released today by the organizing institute - Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur on the official website of JEE Advanced - jeeadv.ac.in.

The Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 20th May 2018 for candidates seeking admissions to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in IITs across the country. JEE Advanced opens the doors to the 23 IITs of India which have about 10998 seats to accommodate the country’s top talent in engineering and technical streams.

To qualify for JEE Advanced the candidates must be among top 224000 (including all categories) in Paper - I of JEE (Main) 2018. As per the official website, JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted in a fully computer-based test mode and will comprise of two papers viz Paper – I and Paper – II. Both the papers are compulsory for the candidates to qualify JEE Advanced 2018.

The exam will be conducted in two sessions and candidates will be given 3 hours each to attempt each paper.

In JEE Advanced 2017, 159540 candidates had appeared for JEE Advanced out of which 50455 had qualified for admissions in the prestigious IITs. For JEE Advanced 2018, additional 4000 students will be eligible for candidates to sit for JEE Advanced as per a decision taken by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) to increase the number of eligible candidates from 2.20 Lakhs to 2.24 Lakhs next year.
