New Delhi: The Indian and New Zealand cricket teams showed their solidarity for the Sri Lankan cricket team who came under terrorist attack in Lahore on Tuesday morning.

They came on to the field in the Napier One-dayer wearing black arm bands to mark their protest against the terrorist attack.

India went on to win the match by 53 runs.

Meanwhile, Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni says he is glad India did not tour Pakistan, where six Sri Lankan players were injured in a terror attack in Lahore.

For good measure, he went on to say it was unlikely that international cricket will be played in Pakistan "in the next few years".

India were to play three Tests, five One-day internationals and one Twenty20 game in Pakistan on January-February but the Indian government refused to permit the tour due to strained relations between the neighbours in the wake of the November 26-29, 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that claimed more than 170 lives.
