A miraculous event that took place at the Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Tiruppur district, Tamil Nadu has increased the spiritual feelings of the devotees. A peacock appearing at the door of the sanctum of this temple surprised all the devotees.

Last week, the devotees visiting the temple were amazed to see a beautiful peacock standing in front of the sanctum. The peacock flapped its wings and mesmerised all those present in the temple. Later, the peacock entered the temple and worshipped Lord Muruga. All the devotees who saw this scene believed that it was a manifestation of God’s grace.

The devotees were stunned to see this amazing act of the peacock. Many people who came to worship this temple said that the arrival of the peacock gave them energy and enthusiasm. They also said that such divine events instil hope and positive thoughts in our lives.

In Hinduism, the peacock is considered to be the vehicle of Lord Muruga. The thousand eyes in the peacock’s beak are considered to be a symbol of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Also, the peacock is considered to be a symbol of beauty, art and music. Hence, the peacock came to the Murugan temple and is considered a good omen for all.

The temple administration said, “Peacocks often visit this temple. This time the peacock went into the sanctum sanctorum and worshipped Lord Muruga, which surprised everyone. We consider this as an expression of God’s grace. We believe that through this event, the faith of the devotees in God will grow.” The devotees who witnessed this miraculous event felt that they were having a divine experience which is unforgettable in their lives.
