It has been long since machines have invaded the industries, putting labourers out of work. These machines are quite efficient and can cut short the time taken to get a task done. Naturally, as technology advanced, we have started to rely heavily on machines for our convenience. For the longest time, logs of wood were cut by humans using proper tools. Now, a wood cutter machine has arrived, which is extremely useful and reduces the time. In South Karnataka, a unique machine is being used to break timber wood into the desirable size. Before the summer season ends and monsoon kicks off, there is a tradition in the villages to collect logs for their barns and firewood for cooking. Currently, the work of cutting down the wood is done by the machines. Previously, when labourers used to break the wood, it required immense strength and hard work. With the help of the machine, this work has become easier.
As per reports, this wood cutting machine was brought from Tamil Nadu. The price of the machine is around Rs 2.5 lakh. Reportedly, the machine was bought by Keshav Gowda of Savanahalli in Belthangady, Karnataka. This machine is petrol-powered and can efficiently cut huge logs into small pieces. It can effortlessly split them into any size required.
For breaking these wood logs, a rate of Rs 1,000 per hour has been fixed. Currently, there is a huge demand for the machine.
How are the logs cut?
The machine uses a sharp axe tip to cut the wooden logs. It splits the wood in a few seconds. The wood cutting machine is handled by two people for the job. The machine can continuously break the logs without needing a break. In comparison, a labourer would take a couple of hours with the help of the machine. With the help of the machine, this work is now achieved in just a few seconds. With the help of cooperation from humans, the machine can be operated.
