The Indian Film Festival (IFFI) is also holding a four day documentary film festival on Indian classical dances and gurus.

Dancing feet was inaugurated by the Goa CM Digambar Kamat, in the

presence of dignitaries like Sitara Devi, Pt. Birju Maharaj etc.

The festival, which will feature 22 select documentaries, Dancing Feet

will showcase various dance forms of India, like Bharathanatyam,

Kuchipudi, Kathakali, Odissi, Kathak, Mohiniattam and Manipuri.

It will also include some movies based on the lives of some dancing icons like Sitara Devi, Pt. Birju Maharaj, Yamini Krishnamurthy, Sonal Mansingh, Dr. Padma Subramainam, Mallika Sarabhai etc.

Last year, IFFI had a similar film festival on maestros of music,

called Moments with the Maestros and it was very well received.
