Mumbai: Simplifying how customers connect to the Internet, HP has embedded mobile broadband in select PCs and tablets and included a flexible mobile data service. This is what the company calls HP DataPass.

HP DataPass will cover 13 markets globally and offer a solution for users locally and when they travel to these countries.

Ready out of the box, it allows customers to simply turn on, register and immediately connect to the Internet with 3G or 4G LTE mobile broadband service powered by Fogg Mobile.

A customer will receive 250MB every month for two years at no additional cost and without contract. They also have an option to purchase additional data packages at locally competitive rates, and without a contract.

HP DataPass will first be made available in Hong Kong and Singapore on the HP Slate 7 Voice Tablet Ultra by the end of this year. The new service will be made available across more devices and markets in 2015.
