Home Minister coming on November 9

BHUBANESWAR: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram is scheduled to visit Odisha on a one-day tour on November 9, official sources said. Chidambaram is scheduled to return to  Delhi after a meeting with the Chief Minister same day. He will review implementation of the developmental activities being carried out by the State Government in the Left Wing Extremist (LEW)-hit districts.  The State Government had prepared a report on possible additional developmental activities to be taken up in the Maoist-hit districts to combat LWEs. The report would be presented to the visiting Minister.
