HYDERABAD: To have wider consultation on the Draft Metropolitan Development Plan for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region together with the Draft Development Promotion Regulations, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will hold consultative meeting for Shankarpally Zone area from 2.30 pm on November 24.The zonal level consultative meeting will be held for Shankarpally Zone area in the Citizen Function Hall on Thursday. The zonal areas covered are Chevella, Moinabad, Rajendranagar Shankerpally, Shabad Mandals of Ranga Reddy District and Hatnoor (Part),Patancheru, Ramchandrapuram, Sangareddy Mandals of Medak District.The general public and interested organisations can attend the meeting on the above said date and time for Shankarpally zone area and offer their views and suggestions on Draft Metropolitan Development Plan. For any further information contact Shankarpally, Zonal Officer Cell No. 9849902552.The Draft Metropolitan Development Plan for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region together with the Draft Development Promotion Regulations has been notified in exercise of powers conferred under section 54 (1) and (2) and Section 13 (1) of the HMDA Act 2008, inviting public objections and suggestions from any person, body or authority in writing with effect from July 22 this year.Last date for filing suggestions on the Draft Metropolitan Development Plan-2031 is extended up to January 21, 2012. All objections will be duly examined before finalisation of the said plan and Zoning and Development Promotion Regulations will be forwarded for final approval.
