New Delhi: Actor Mathivaanan Rajendran, who played the role of one of Dhanush's friends in his latest hit 'Mayakkam Enna', has a unique problem. The man's phone hasn't stopped ringing ever since the movie hit the screens.
Fans of Dhanush, Richa Gangopadhyay and director Selvaraghavan keep calling him in the hope of having a conversation with their favourite stars. But why call him to have a conversation with Dhanush or for that matter, the other celebrities associated with the project and more importantly, how did they get his number?
Explains the actor,"The film has a sequence in which Richa is seen saving Dhanush's number as Genius. It is actually my number. When that scene was being filmed, Selva said, 'Give me a mobile' and I handed mine. He then wanted a number and I blurted out mine. So, the number you get to see on screen and the mobile Richa saves it on are both mine. Some of the fans who saw the number being flashed on screen have saved it and have been calling to find out who the number belongs to."
Adds Mathivaanan,"There are fans who call up this number and ask if this number belongs to Dhanush or Richa or Selvaraghavan. They are curious to find out whose number this is. I've had several such calls already. In fact, I even had a call from an upcoming photographer. He said he was trying to make it big in the world of Photography and that he would appreciate it if we could help. Looks like he isn't the only one needing help!"
