He was under a lot of pressure: Anjali

New Delhi: Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali Tendulkar admitted that there was enromous pressure on her husband before breaking Sunil Gavaskar's world record of highest number of Test centuries.

"I am very happy that the record was broken. There was a lot of pressure on him. Otherwise, it is just another hundred," Anjali said on Saturday.

She said she was not expecting the record-breaking ton to come so soon.

"Yesterday, when I asked him about the practice, he said 'I played well at the nets.' So I was thinking maybe but this surely was not expected," Anjali added.

However, she refused to reveal what she expects from Sachin in future.

"I do not want to speak about the future because I am very superstitious," she said.
