HYDERABAD: The vacation bench of the AP High Court on Wednesday adjourned to after vacation a public interest petition seeking direction to the state government for immediate stoppage of advertisements to Ushodaya Enterprises of Eenadu group. The bench observed that there was no urgency to take up a case of this kind in the vacation court. The petitioners - Boorla Ramaswamy, a retired professor, and C Dharma Reddy, a local advocate - alleged that Ushodaya Enterprises Pvt Ltd with Ch Ramoji Rao as its chairman had been openly canvassing support for anti-Congress political parties with an agenda of furthering the political fortunes of the TDP.In spite of alleged violation of government norms, the government’s continued patronage of Ushodaya Publications should be declared illegal, the petition said.
