BANGALORE: The city police have intensified the probe on State Bank of Mysore’s cashier Anasuya’s murder case. The primary investigation has revealed that the accused misbehaved with Anasuya and she had objected to it. But as he continued his misbehaviour, she informed her husband Krishnan about it. Later, the couple had complained to the Apartment’s Residents’ Welfare Association about the incident and had asked its president to change the security guard, the police said.“Based on their complaint, the president had warned Ashraf to mend his behaviour, but he had not improved. So the association had decided to remove him. It is suspected that this had triggered hatred in Ashraf against Anasuya and it might have led to the murder,” the police added. The police have also recovered Ashraf’s mobile phone from his room in the cellar of the apartment.  “The call details have been collected and apparently none of his relatives are staying in the city. However, we have questioned a few of his friends about him,” the police explained. The police are yet to decide over sending a team to his native place in Assam as they  suspect that he could be still hiding in the city. Further investigations are on in this regard.Meanwhile, a postmortem was conducted at Bowring Hospital mortuary on Saturday and the body was handed over to Anasuya’s family members. It may be recalled here that Anasuya was allegedly stabbed to death by Ashraf on Friday noon when she came home for lunch.
