Geetika case: Police to continue questioning
The police are looking to subject Gopal Kanda to a brain-mapping test as they say he has not been cooperating with the investigations.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police will continue questioning former Haryana minister and main accused in the Geetika Sharma suicide case, Gopal Goyal Kanda on Tuesday.

The police are looking to subject Kanda to a brain-mapping test as they say he has not been cooperating with the investigations.

Meanwhile, co-accused in the case and a key Kanda aide, Aruna Chadha will be produced in court on Tuesday.

The police have sought her custody to bring her face-to-face with Kanda to help investigations.

Twenty-three-year-old Geetika committed suicide earlier this month alleging mental harassment and torture by her former employers at MDLR, Kanda and Chadha.

Kanda went absconding on August 8, the day he was asked to join investigations into the case.

While Chadha was arrested three days after the case came to light, Kanda managed to evade arrest.

However, he surrendered last week saying he wanted to assist the police in the probe.
