CHENNAI: S K Mittal, Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, who was here to conduct an inquiry into the Arakkonam train accident that killed 10 persons, said that a final report on the mishap would be submitted within 10 days.Mittal began his two-day investigation at the Chennai Divisional Office at the Southern Railway headquarters on Friday. He first visited the Government GH and met the EMU driver, Raj Kumar, who was alleged to have ignored a red signal and then jumped out of the train when he noticed the Arakkonam-Katpadi passenger train on the same track. When reporters asked him for the details that Raj Kumar had shared with him, he said that they would be disclosed only in the final report.
