HYDERABAD: Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) deputy medical superintendent G Sarath Chandra Nagavara Prasad, accused in a land extortion case, filed a petition in the Third Metropolitan Sessions Court at Nampally on Friday seeking anticipatory bail.The court posted the matter to December 26.The Crime Investigation Department probing the land extortion case, has named Sarath Chandra as A3. The other accused in the case are Bhanu Kiran, G Hemalatha Reddy and the late VVV Rao. The case was registered after Maddelacheruvu Suri’s murder following a complaint by V Sudheer Reddy, a realtor.The complainant stated that his business partner late Rao, approached Suri to settle the dispute over a real estate business venture involving 220 acres.
