BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has continued its drive against illegal Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) laid across the city. Release from BBMP said that on Thursday more than 25 kilometers of unauthorised OFCs in Mahadevapura and East zone were removed. This includes eight kilometers on Whitefield main road, five kilometer from Ramamurthynagar, 3.5 km from Kundanahalli colony among others.While it can be recalled that BBMP had cut 8.8 kms in Gali Anjaneya sub-division and 1.7 kms was removed from Vijayanagar recently.
