NELLORE: Director-general of police V Dinesh Reddy has warned Telangana agitators not to test the patience of the police by creating a law and order problem.Reddy, who was here on Monday to attend a private function, said during a brief interaction with mediapersons that the police were making every effort to see that people were not subjected to any trouble by the agitators.Asked why they had not arrested TJAC convener Kodandaram, the man behind the stir that was causing a lot of problems, the DGP said the government had not given any orders in that direction.On the whereabouts of Bhanu, the prime accused in the case of murder of Maddelacheruvu Suri, he said the police had got a crucial lead and would arrest him soon.On the multi-crore money circulation scheme scam in Nellore district, Dinesh Reddy said they were handing over the case to the CB-CID and also constituting a special task force to solve it.“We have an important person behind the scam in our custody and are investigating whether the scheme has spread to other parts of the state and who else is involved in it,’’ he said, while assuring the victims that justice would be done and their money would be returned through legal means.
