Did Salman Khan turn down Chetan Bhagat's script?
Media reports said Salman did not like Chetan Bhagat's script for Kick because it wasn't commercial enough.

New Delhi: There were media reports citing rumours that actor Salman Khan did not like bestselling author Chetan Bhagat's script for Kick because it wasn't commercial enough. But the author vehemently denied having even met the star.

"The Mumbai Mirror story on Kick is fake. Haven't met Salman on Kick at all. Script is still not ready. Just been working with Sajid N's team," Bhagat tweeted in the morning.

In an online live webchat with IBNLive, the author said he was writing the screenplay for Kick.

"I am writing the screenplay for KICK, starring Salman Khan and directed/produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Full on action/comedy/family drama movie. it is a remake of the Telugu hit, but making many changes to it," Bhagat said.

Bhagat, after a successful stint as fiction writer, seems to be gearing up for a career in script writing in Bollywood. He has co-written the screenplay of Kai Po Che, an adaptation of his book The Three Mistakes of My Life.
