Delhi University Students Union asks CM Arvind Kejriwal for university special buses, infrastructure upgrade
DUSU is the representative body of the students from all colleges and faculties of the university.

New Delhi: Delhi University Students Union's (DUSU) office-bearers on Saturday met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and submitted an eight-point memorandum of demands to him, which include university special buses and upgrading of colleges' infrastructure.

"We submitted an eight-point memorandum of demands to the chief minister, who has assured us of looking into the issues raised by us including improvement of infrastructure in Delhi government colleges," DUSU President Mohit Nagar said.

DUSU is the representative body of the students from all colleges and faculties of the university.

"Regarding the university-special buses, he has asked us to submit a list of the routes on which these buses are required. We have also requested him that the DTC buses passes availed by DU students should also be valid in the AC buses," he said.

"Regarding upgrading of infrastructure in 28 Delhi government colleges, he has assured us that the necessary initiatives will be taken up at the earliest. We have also demanded that the North Campus (of DU) be converted into a a 'compact campus' in view of security reasons," he added.

The seven-member delegation which met Kejriwal included DUSU's president, vice-president, joint secretary and secretary along with three members of BJP's youth wing - Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
