Delhi High court upholds ban on e-rickshaws in capital

New Delhi: The Delhi High court on Tuesday upheld the ban on e-rickshaws in the national capital till a legislative order is brought in to implement new regulations.

The court also observed that it cannot participate in legislative changes. It said, "What is prohibited under law, cannot be permitted."

The High Court has reconfirmed its interim order of banning of e-rickshaws till the Centre does not formulate rules under the Motor Vehicle Act.
