In a shocking incident from Delhi, a class 8th student was brutally assaulted by his classmates, one of whom inserted a wooden stick into his private parts. An FIR has been registered in the case and a juvenile has been apprehended. The incident took place on March 18.

According to an India Today report, the 14-year-old boy had allegedly got into a fight with his schoolmates. He was then brutally thrashed by four of them. The boy said he was threatened by his attackers to not reveal the incident to anyone or his sister, who studies in the same school.

The boy’s family accused the police and the school authorities of negligence and claimed they were denied access to the school principal.

According to the victim, he got into a fight with his classmate on March 13 and was assaulted by the accused on March 18. On March 20, the boy complained of stomach ache and was taken to a doctor.

His situation, however, did not improve and he had to be rushed to a hospital on March 28 and underwent an operation. The doctors at the hospital told the boy’s family he had probably been the victim of an assault.

After the boy gained consciousness on April 2, he narrated the whole incident to his family, following which a police complaint was filed.

The medical report also revealed that the boy had suffered a serious injury involving the insertion of a foreign object, specifically a wooden stick, into his anal region.

“The student told about the incident of beating and insertion of a wooden stick in his posterior by one of his classmates. He was also threatened for not disclosing the incident to anyone,” an FIR read.

A case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), and 377 (unnatural offences), along with Section 506 (criminal intimidation) and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.

The accused juvenile was apprehended and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB).
