If you think you are going to witness a western gown and simple tux, wait till you set your eyes on the bride behind the veil and the groom in his velvet tux.
Deepika donned a red custom couture gown by Zuhair Murad with a bold plunging neckline leaving a long trail of the red gown behind. We must say, Deepika looks nothing less then a sartorial dream. What set her outfit on a higher pedestal was the red veil.
On the make up front, through out her wedding the black Kohl eyes look was definitely the signature makeup but for a change we love her subtle look.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh looked stunning in his black tuxedo by Rohit and Rahul Gandhi teaming it up with a velvet jacket. When it comes to Ranveer, there has to be a little quirk to his outfit. This time he chose to wear black frames and black shoes. The cherry on top was the black velvet jacket and the gelled hair.
From her red veil to her red stilettos and from his black frames to black shoes, the couple were fashion personified.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 in a traditional Konkani ceremony, which was followed by a Sindhi wedding on November 15. Both the functions were fiercely intimate with just about 40 guests in attendance and a ban on prying mobile phones and paparazzi. The security at the wedding venues was reportedly at par with that provided for a meeting of world leaders.
On their return, the two hosted a reception for Deepika's relatives in Bengaluru, followed by a DJ bash organised by Ranveer's sister Ritika Bavnani for the couple.
The two threw another lavish reception for their friends from the media in Mumbai. The newlyweds, who looked nothing less than royal at their reception, as they came out and posed for the shutterbugs.
On the work front, they were last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. While Ranveer will next be seen in Simmba, Deepika hasn’t announced her next project yet.
