BANGALORE: Elated Twins, Anil R and Sunil R, who are among the toppers of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education’s (ICSE) Class 10 exams of New Baldwin English Primary School, Bangalore said that it was because of their consistent hard work and dedication that they were able to perform well in their exams.Their aggregate scores were 93 and 90, topping their school with second and third rank. “I will credit my results to the dedication and sheer hard work that I have been putting in my studies. It’s also because of the blessings and good wishes of my parents and others,” said Anil R.Talking about his preparations, Anil said that he took the help of ICSE sample question papers to familiarise himself with the pattern of questions.“I went through sample question papers while preparing for my exams. Through this, I got to know the question pattern and how they are framed,” added Anil. He also said, “It also gave me an idea about the marking system. I worked along those lines and it helped me get a good score.”Mother of these twins added, “The only help that I offered was not to interfere in their studies. I have never told them to go and study. In fact, at times I told them to take a break and sleep.” Both of them want to pursue medicine and then go on to appear for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam.
