Leader Chopra had rounds of 64 and 65 to be 13-under 129 after two rounds of Iskandar Johor Open golf.

Johor Bahru: Shiv Kapur was the best among all the Indians, who had finished with two rounds at the rain-hit Iskandar Johor Open here on Friday, where Daniel Chopra is leading at 13-under.

Kapur, with rounds of 70 and 68, was four-under through two days and lying 29th.

Leader Chopra had rounds of 64 and 65 to be 13-under 129 and five clear of Bangladesh's Siddikur (67-67) and Christian Nilsson (67-67).

First round leader Joost Luiten was one-under through nine holes in second round after a first round 63.

Chopra, who grew up in India, rekindled his love for Malaysia where he won his first professional title at the 1993 Johor Open.

"My first ever professional win was here in Johor so I have fond memories here. I love Asia. I grew up in India and spent all my youth travelling around Asia. This is my second home," smiled Chopra, who earned his 2012 PGA Tour card through the Nationwide Tour this year.

The other Indian to finish and with a chance of making the cut was Jeev Milkha Singh, who must be ruing his triple bogey on the back nine. Jeev, who had a four-under 31 on front nine, had a costly triple on the back nine, but still finished with a 68 that hauled him up after a 73 on first day. He was at tied 66th on the cut line, but will need to wait and watch others finish before he knows his fate.

Rahil Gangjee, three-under through five holes in second round, was five-under for the tournament at tied 23rd. Jyoti Randhawa was even through six and at two-under for the tournament, he was provisionally 49th and Anirban Lahiri (71) and Gaurav Ghei (70), who had finished their second round were certain to miss the cut as they were 82nd and 100th.

Himmat Rai (two under through 6) and two-over for tournament, Sujjan Singh (one-over through 10) and three-over were also in danger of missing the cut.

Manav Jaini, SSP Chowrasia, Digvijay Singh and Chiragh Kumar withdrew from the second round.
