BANGALORE: A 57 year old building contractor died after he accidentally slipped and fell on a water tub inside the bathroom in Jayanagar police station limits on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as M T Shantha Kumar, a resident of South End Road. He was a widower staying alone and his two sons are settled in US. On Thursday morning, the house maid knocked the door and grew suspicious when there was no response. She immediately contacted Jayaprakash, brother of Shantha Kumar, who stays near by. He came to Shantha Kumar's house and peeped inside the windows and found his brother lying inside the bath room.

Jayaprakash entered the house by breaking open the lock and found him lying dead, police said.

He had rented out his building to a reputed sweet stall in the city and was making a living out of the rent. The death has been informed to his children in US and the police have registered an unnatural death case.
