BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda underwent a cardiac check-up at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology and Research here on Tuesday. Gowda, who has been frequently travelling after being elected as the chief minister, underwent tests including blood test, ECHO, ECG, chest X ray, tread mill test and abdominal ultrasound. Speaking to Express Dr CN Manjunath, director, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology and Research, said that test reports indicated he was normal. “This was a routine screening for the chief minister of the state. It is a mandatory check-up”, he said.Gowda spent nearly two hours in the institute and appreciated the services rendered by the hospital.After the cardiac check up, the chief minister, who is diabetic, visited the Karnataka Institute of Diabetology (KID) for regular check-up.
