CM to open Durbar Hall Kalakendram

KOCHI: The renovated Durbar Hall Kalakendram of Kerala Lalithakala Akademi will be dedicated to the nation on Sunday by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.The gallery is set to be a landmark in the state’s history of painting and sculpture. The works of 100 artists will be exhibited in the gallery for 20 days.Tourism Minister A P Anilkumar will hand over the key. Union Minister K V Thomas, Excise Minister K Babu, Public Works Minister V K Ebrahim Kunju, MLAs Hibi Eden, Dominic Presentation and Benny Behanan are among those who will be present.
