New Delhi: The countdown for the board exam results has started. Waiting for the results is an agonising and yet exciting experience in any student's life. Besides hope and anxiety, there are the expectations of the parents and teachers to be met. While CBSE and Karnataka boards are close to declaring their results, ICSE and other state boards are expected to declare them in the next couple of weeks.
The CBSE Xth and XIIth Board examinations' results, 2012, will be declared any time now. Here are some of the websites which students can visit to know how they have fared. The official CBSE website, http://cbseresults.nic.in/ will put the results up but increased traffic may lead to its unavailability. In that case, students can visit http://cbseresults2012.co.in/. Another website, http://cbse.examresults.net/, has a service by which you can get your results via e-mail once you are registered on the portal.
In Karnataka, the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results for the year 2012 will be announced on May 17. Around 8.5 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examination. The result will be available on the following websites: www.examresults.net, www.karnatakaeducation.net, http://results.KarnatakaEducation.net. Students can also access their results via SMS by sending RESULT KAR12 along with their registration number to 56263. Example: RESULT KAR12 222222.
The students in Karnataka can also get their SSLC result through email by getting themeselves registered at www.examresults.net. The pre-university (PU) examination results will be announced on May 23. About six lakh students appeared for the PU examination in 2012.
The students in Andhra Pradesh may have to wait a bit longer though. The Board Class X Exam Results 2012 are expected to be declared in the first week of June. Candidates, who appeared for the exam, can check their results on the official website (http://bieap.gov.in/).
