HYDERABAD: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials once again quizzed representatives of the YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy-owned Jagathi Publications for several hours today. Till Sunday, CBI officials have questioned almost all representatives who invested in various companies owned by Jagan Mohan Reddy. CBI officials said that they have almost completed the investigation and the report will be submitted to AP High Court on July 26. Joint director V V Lakshmi Narayana told reporters that 22 companies had responded after notices were issued to them and representatives of two more companies are expected to come on Monday. Already, senior Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) officials, including the then managing director BP Acharya, has been questioned by CBI with regard to the tainted APIIC deal with Emaar. Besides Acharya, mines department officials were also questioned. AP High Court recently directed CBI to conduct an inquiry into the alleged illegal wealth amassed by Jagan Mohan Reddy following which all investors in companies owned by Jagan were questioned by the CBI.
