THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI court, which will be inaugurated at the District Court Complex at Vanchiyoor here on Monday will hear important cases from the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Alappuzha, said District and Sessions Judge B Sudheendra Kumar on Friday. He told reporters here that as many as 64 cases, which are presently considered by the two CBI courts in Ernakulam would be transferred to the Thiruvananthapuram CBI court. Fast Track Court Judge T S P Moosath will be the CBI Special Judge. Manoj Kumar and Anil Kumar, currently serving as CBI prosecutors in New Delhi and Ernakulam respectively, have been appointed as the CBI prosecutors here. The District Judge also said that special court to deal with forest cases would come up at Nedumangad in October. High Court Chief Justice Jasti Chelameswar will inaugurate the CBI Court on Monday at 10.45 a.m in the presence of dignitaries from legal fraternity and Ministers.
