A hunt is on to find both of them. The baby was born on October 1.

In a shocking incident, a 3-day-old infant was stolen from a government hospital in Bengaluru. The CCTV footage shows an unidentified woman in the hospital corridor carrying the baby.

The parents - Fareeda, a home maker, and her husband Syed Abeeb, who works in a shop in east Bengaluru, have lodged a complaint.

According to the baby's parents, they were approached by a woman on Sunday who said she wanted to play with the infant. The unsuspecting couple passed on their baby to the woman and after about 10 minutes, the parents realised that both the woman and the baby were gone.

They raised an alarm after that. The CCTV footage from the hospital shows the woman carrying the baby along the hospital corridor. The police have identified two people as suspects from the CCTV footage they were able to get. However, they are yet to zero in on the culprits.

No arrests have been made so far. The baby was born on October 1.
