BANGALORE: Lokayukta submitted the U V Singh report to the High Court on Wednesday following the hearing of a petition by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa after the counsel for the petitioners sought time to go through the report; the court has adjourned further hearing to August 22. Following the HC’s directions, the Lokayukta submitted the report to court. Counsel for Katta Case AppointedLokayukta has appointed senior counsel M T Nanaiah as the special public prosecutor in the two cases involving Katta Subramanya Naidu, his son Katta Jagadish seeking bail and Srinivas, MD of Itasca company, who have moved the High Court seeking bail. Senior Counsel Ravi B Naik appeared on behalf of respondents and said: “There is no prima facie evidence against Naidu; a chargesheet was filed against the petitioners within an hour of his arrest.
