Book on Forests released

KOCHI: To know more about forests and the laws related to forests in Kerala, M I Varghese, a retired DFO, Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary, has penned a book named ‘A Treatise on Forest Laws in Kerala’.The book was released by Justice K Padmanabhan Nair who handed over a copy of the book to H Nagesh Prabhu, Chief conservator of Forests, Social Forestry, Ernakulam.Additional District Judge, Ajith Kumar, S Unnikrishnan, DFO, Suseela Bhat, Government Pleader and Ambi Swamy of Swamy law House spoke on the occasion.
