GUNTUR: The Seemandhra Political Joint Action Committee has flayed BJP senior leader LK Advani for changing his stand on Telangana.The Seemandhra Student JAC burnt the BJP in effigy on the national highway near Acharya Nagarjuna University denouncing the statement of Advani during his Jan Chetna Yatra in Telangana districts on Wednesday that the AP Assembly resolution on forming a T state was neither mandatory nor obligatory under the constitution.Later, they also formed a human chain for Samaikyandhra.A rasta roko was also organised at AC College Centre against bifurcation of the state. Speaking on the occasion, JAC convener N Samuel reminded that Advani wrote a letter to A Narendra earlier in which he clearly stated that Hyderabad is located in the middle of Andhra Pradesh and formation of a separate Telangana state may not be so easy.Now, the BJP had changed its stand on Telangana for political mileage, he said.Seemandhra Political JAC president N Narasimha Rao said the BJP should abide by its original stand on the T issue to thwart bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.The JAC leaders also criticised Advani for declaring that the BJP would support the Telangana bill.
